Latest Updates
If you are a Microsoft Exchange DOM e-mail customer, you can now look at your e-mail via the web.

If you plan on purchasing a new PC, please consider purchasing a Dell with the Windows XP operating system.  Certain standards have been passed  by the Network Steering Committee, aimed at saving you money in the long run.

Services Offered
The MNet office utilizes informational technology to support the ongoing efforts of faculty and staff. Formed in 1997, the DOM MNet group now supports more than 1,500 faculty and staff and spans five campuses. For a complete listing of our activities, visit our overview.

As a DOM network client, you are entitled to free e-mail, virus scanning and calendar software. In addition, as part of your service arrangement, the MNet group will install other software for you, such as EPR, HIP, Microsoft Office or other applications you may need. If software requires a license, you must pay for that license.

If you need a software install or upgrade, or if you need hardware, such as zip drives or scanners, installed, please contact the MNet HELP Desk by calling 410-502-6638 or send an e-mail to mnet@jhmi.edu and we will arrange a time to do this for you. Installations of this type may require two weeks to schedule.

Please be courteous on the network. Unauthorized access into areas where you have not been granted permission is prohibited and may be grounds for dismissal. You must change your password every 180 days or your account will expire. If someone needs to access your PC, please do not give your password to this person; instead have the guest user call the MNet Help Desk (410-502-6638).
